The Project & Opportunity:
HumeLink East involves the expansion of the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with the design and construction of 230km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This new transmission line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface point with HumeLink West.
For this project, we're currently recruiting multiple Senior Project Engineers, one for bulk earthworks and one for logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reporting to our Construction Manager, the scope of the role will see you:
* Work with our design teams to provide overall feedback and constructability reviews
* Lead and manage a team of experienced engineers;
* Support and provide technical assistance to our supervisors and superintendents
* Oversee and manage the procurement of plant, equipment and resources
* Provide regular reporting including end of month cost reviews and reporting
Required Skills and Competencies
* Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills
* A tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent; You may be an experienced Senior Project Engineer looking for your next role or an established Project Engineer ready to take that next step up
* Experience influencing and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes whilst develop strong working relationships
