Purpose
The Region Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the downstream strategic marketing plan to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of BVI's ophthalmic surgical portfolio- including cataract, glaucoma, and retina—in their assigned market. This role will lead local product launch initiatives, customer segmentation efforts, P2P programs, and promotional campaigns, working cross-functionally with Global Product Marketing, Sales, Training, KOL Engagement, and Marketing Operations. This individual will act as the local marketing expert and a strategic partner to the Sales organization, ensuring commercial success and alignment with BVI's global strategy
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the in-market marketing lead for downstream initiatives, including campaign execution, lead generation, and sales enablement.
* Understand regional market trends and dynamics to define customer segmentation, positioning, and value propositions for cataract and retina portfolios.
* Develop and localize messaging, tools, and materials to support new product introductions and ongoing portfolio promotion.
* Partner with Sales leadership to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with commercial goals and field execution.
* Identify, engage, and manage relationships with local KOLs and clinical champions.
* Plan and execute local congress participation and society partnerships to build BVI brand awareness and reputation.
* Collaborate with global marketing teams to ensure consistency and localization of global campaigns and messaging.
* Analyze business performance, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and adapt tactics.
* Manage local marketing budget and ensure appropriate resource allocation

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and customers.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* College degree in Marketing or a related business field is required.
* Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial experience within ophthalmology i

* Product launch experience is strongly preferred.
