Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect to join our General Digital Foundations team. In Bilbao, you will design and guide secure, scalable, and cost‑effective hybrid cloud solutions focused on Microsoft Azure. This senior position combines technical leadership, architectural strategy and cross‑functional collaboration across global teams and technologies.
Responsibilities
Defining and implementing Azure‑based architecture for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
Designing secure and scalable Azure Landing Zones in a hybrid/multi‑cloud context.
Standardizing deployments with FinOps, governance and compliance frameworks.
Leading cloud service lifecycle: design, selection, implementation and decommissioning.
Collaborating with IT, architects, service providers and business stakeholders across regions.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields with 8+ years in cloud or senior infrastructure roles.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure (e.G., VMs, NSGs, Policy, Monitor) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Azure CLI).
Experience in hybrid enterprise architecture and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Strong conceptual thinking, execution focus and ability to simplify complex topics.
Fluent English communication and certifications including AZ‑305 and ITIL Foundation (AZ‑104, Terraform Associate or AWS certifications are a plus). xhfqzwm
