Position Overview: The Logistics & Processing Manager is responsible for overseeing all logistics, asset processing, and recycling operations for a country or region.
This role ensures efficient planning, control, and management of all logistics & processing activities while coordinating with partners to achieve operational excellence and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
The position plays a pivotal role in supporting local business growth through effective management of returned assets and partner relations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Incoming Logistics: Plan and organize daily transport operations for incoming assets.
2. Manage customer services for logistics-related inquiries.
3. Oversee transport cost calculations and ensure invoice accuracy.
4. Monitor SLA compliance and quality tracking for all incoming goods.
5. Conduct quality and quantity control checks on goods-in.
6. Address exceptions and manage deviations in logistics processes.
Outgoing Logistics: Process orders for remarketed assets and handle customer service needs.
Coordinate with logistics partners for order placement, pick & pack operations, and shipping.
Perform customs checks and ensure tax compliance for outgoing shipments.
Create proforma invoices, manage booking, payments, and shipment releases.
Oversee logistics related to asset return management.
Logistics Partner Management: Conduct audits and quality reviews of logistics partners.
Collaborate with partner management to ensure service quality and control costs.
Provide feedback on partner performance and resolve discrepancies.
EOL Partner Management: Perform on-site audits at service providers handling returned assets.
Track SLAs for asset processing, including auditing, pick & pack, and transport.
Manage quality assurance for EOL processing and report deviations.
Oversee returned asset processing, ensuring timely handling and resolution of issues like locked devices and discrepancies.
Review EOL processes, manage transport costs, and ensure data accuracy.
Assess profitability of direct sales to customers based on market values.
Locked Devices Management: Track locked devices, manage escalation to sales when necessary.
Reporting and Collaboration: Work with sales, service delivery, and contract teams.
Report logistics performance, quality, and partner management metrics to headquarters.
Track key metrics such as lease origination, gross margin, and net profit impacts.
Qualifications: Proven experience in logistics management, supply chain, or related fields.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Experience working with logistics providers and managing costs.
Fluent in Spanish; solid understanding of ITAD business.
Ability to perform detailed audits and provide feedback.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
