Responsibilities
* Protect and optimum market access
* Concerning limited market access and reimbursement for ADC’s products
* Implement concepts of corporation with healthcare insurances on local are, GP & diabetologists associations, etc. incl. negotiating and contracting e.g. by selective contract and / or tender business
* Analysis of current trends and drafting of action alternatives.
* Decoding all of the relevant players for requirements, interactions and influence of seen problems
* With relevant opinion leader
* Monitoring market environment
Qualifications
* University Degree and on-the-job business exposure.
* MBA or equivalent post graduate Diploma
* Min 8 years of experience in Market Access
* Fluent in Spanish and English languages.
* Knowledge of health care system in Spain as well as regulations and standards.
* In depth understanding of health care politics and how the health care networks operates (e.g. reimbursement schemes, health care insurances).
* Ideally international exposure through education and work within an international corporation.
* Cross-cultural affinity and understanding.
* Good personal / professional balance and discipline.
* Stamina, stress tolerance.
* Healthy competitive attitude and desire to win.
* Broad intellectual curiosity and general interest.
* Displays personal and professional ethics.
* Displays continuous learning ability.
* Ability to embrace, represent and promote the Abbott Mission and Culture within and outside the organization.
* Needs to know key decision makers and health political influencers personally.
