The A400M services programme directorate is responsible for the support and services to the international A400M fleet, from an operational performance perspective as well as the financial performance of the respective contracts.Currently, the contract portfolio managed by the programme directorate is very diverse, ranging from standard time and material contracts up to performance based contracts.In a context of increasing geopolitical tension and affordability challenges, it is of utmost importance to constantly reinvent our business development activities.This means, be creative in the type of service we can offer, up to pooling and sharing services of assets - maximizing the value we put at the disposal of our customers.This means, be creative in the type of contract we can offer, to find the best balance between customer value and shareholder value.More concretely, a number of contracts will need to be renewed over the next 5 years, amongst which the GSS contract ( UK, FR, SP, BELUX, DE, TK) is probably one of the most relevant ones.You will be expected to join the GSS campaign team, and shape the future of the A400M in-service operation. That entails:
- Define new service models- Challenge our service delivery competitiveness, hence work collaboratively with all involved functions.- Working closely with the finance community to define a sustainable business caseYour development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.Throughout the two-year development programme, you will have developed into the position of Graduate SERVICES BUSINESS DEVELOPERWhat we are looking forTo be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:
- A master degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study (Engineering and/or Business or a similar field of study)- Recently graduated, an internship/ working student position in the aerospace sector is considered a plus- Ideally, you bring first knowledge about aerospace industry, alternative business models and service models- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English), Spanish is considered a plus- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation- The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.Please note, we love your interest in working for Airbus but we do ask that you make only one application to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme.
