We are currently looking for a Manco Accountant to join the Accounting function of an important international client within the real estate sector. This is a full-time position based in Valencia, working in a highly international environment and supporting Management Companies (Mancos) across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate accounting for all transactions based on agreements, invoices, bank statements and tax assessments.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations across the full balance sheet.
- Conduct impairment analysis and going concern assessments.
- Prepare management and ad-hoc reporting, including statutory financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements (e.g. VAT filings, annual tax returns, Central Bank reporting, Office of Statistics).
- Ensure intragroup service agreements (recharges) are executed accurately and on time, and that recharged costs are properly reconciled.
- Reconcile intercompany and related-party balances.
- Liaise with legal, compliance, treasury and tax teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Payroll bookkeeping support.
Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in accounting.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling or a related field.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
- Previous involvement in company audits.
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Strong numerical skills and high attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Experience in real estate is a plus.
