About the Role:
You'll oversee and coordinate vessel operations in real time to maximize productivity, quality, and safety, working closely with stevedores, ship officers, and the shift team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor ship operations in line with gang nominations, work orders, and berth plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stevedores and ship officers on operational matters.
- Support the Terminal Shift Supervisor as needed across shift tasks.
- Manage real-time automation control.
- Ensure reliable communication between systems and infrastructure (servers, networks, wireless, VMT) in real time.
- Plan vessel operations effectively and proactively.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Technical Engineering or similar (Computer/Telecommunications Engineering or a strong technical profile).
- Strong personal skills: leadership, time management, attention to detail.
- Applicants must be proficient in English (C1 or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of IT systems (servers/automation). Training or experience with Python, SQL, ABB systems, and networking is a plus.

- Schedule flexibility: rotating weekly shifts (morning, afternoon, night).
- Prior experience in a container terminal is an advantage.
