About the Role:
As School Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing all school transport routes in accordance with Cognita's safety protocols and school schedules. Your role is to ensure the safety, punctuality, and comfort of students, maintaining constant communication with families, transport providers, and school staff. You will manage bus routes, efficiently assign students based on their location, arrange transportation for field trips, and coordinate route monitors and their training. You will also oversee incident response, budget management, and continuous service improvement.
This is a temporary position available immediately.
- Act as a liaison between parents, teachers, and the driver regarding student needs or schedule changes.
- Oversee daily operations, coordinate routes, manage schedules for regular/special trips, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and school staff.
- Punctuality, reliability, and patience.
- Ensure the safe, timely, and secure transportation of students between home and school.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Education: Engineering, Business Administration, or related university studies.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) with the three specialties: safety, industrial hygiene and ergonomics, and applied psychosociology.
- Languages: Spanish / English will be valued.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, operations or similar. At least 1 year in the company or 3 years in a similar position.
