Copyright Clearance Center (CCC)We're looking for a seasoned Data Architect with deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, and modern cloud data solutions. You’ll bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders—designing scalable systems, mentoring developers, and shaping the future of our data strategy.
What you will be doing:
Design and guide relational and non-relational database architectureAct as a technical resource to application and DBA teams with multiple database technologies (PostgreSQL, Neo4J, DynamoDB, etc.)Act as architect and evangelist for our data lake house and data quality improvement programsCollaborate with business and technical teams on data integration, quality, and modeling initiativesDefine and maintain database development standards and mentor engineering teams in best practicesSupport data engineering, analytics, and data science efforts across core productsDrive training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in data technologies across departments
Requirements
8+ years’ experience as a database architect, developer, or administrator across platforms;
PostgreSQL is a mustStrong experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS, RDS, Aurora) and modern data servicesProven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExpertise in data modeling, data integration (e.G., Spark), and data warehousingFamiliarity with data security/audit standards (e.G., SOX) and BI toolsBonus:
Python, R, or Java knowledge;
experience in agile andJEE development environments
