Job Description : Pastry Chef at Club Med
Join our team at Club Med, where we offer high-end vacations in mountain and beach resorts across 26 countries. We are seeking a passionate and creative Pastry Chef to lead a team of 2 to 5 pastry cooks, manage pastry section operations, and deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
Work Environment : Each resort features multiple restaurants and bars, providing a variety of dining experiences from buffets to bistronomic restaurants, thematic bars, and tasting cellars. Our refined offerings are built on five pillars : creating memorable experiences, surprising guests with diverse concepts, promoting well-being, engaging emotions and senses, all in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Candidate Profile :
* Creative and skilled in surprising guests with techniques and flavor explosions.
* Rigorous in hygiene and safety standards.
* Passionate about transmitting and creating emotion through culinary arts.
Responsibilities :
* Lead and motivate your team of pastry cooks.
* Offer a wide variety of baked goods in the buffet, personalizing guest interaction.
* Control setup, presentation, and replenishment of buffets (serving 600 to 1000 covers per service).
* Manage orders and inventory for the pastry section.
* Ensure service quality and compliance with health and safety standards.
