Role Overview
You will collaborate closely with Business Units and Group functions to provide support and drive agile enhancements for Corporate Life and Pension global systems. The Senior Business Analyst will promote our global CLP platforms within Business Units and work in an agile environment to contribute to the growth and enhancements of CLP solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of business analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
* Oversee the gathering and documentation of functional and non‑functional business requirements, securing stakeholder sign‑offs.
* Produce detailed technical requirement specifications throughout the agile iteration lifecycle, incorporating change requests and ensuring impact assessments for all major changes.
* Align requirements with system architects, ensuring technical teams understand the solution design and that it meets business requirements.
* In an agile environment, produce clear user stories, maintain the backlog, prioritize stories with the Product Owner, and manage development work within sprints.
* Collaborate with the Test Manager and testers to ensure QA tests are completed before solution submission to business users.
* Work closely with the project manager on risk assessment, scope, and high‑level planning.
* Facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand‑ups and other meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
* Drive continuous improvement of agile practices within the team.
Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience on projects, with 5+ years as a technical business analyst, including leadership experience.
* Technical background in software development.
* Experience planning, conducting, and facilitating workshops and one‑on‑one sessions with business users and technical experts to develop business solutions.
* Experience scoping and prioritizing project activities and delivering IT projects in an agile development environment.
* Experience working in an international environment, collaborating across countries and cultures.
* Experience in the insurance or finance industry.
* Effective communication skills across different mediums, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, even when business users have limited availability and competing priorities.
