We are looking for Metrology Engineer for our team in Valencia area to work in one of the most important Tier 1 in the automotive sector to ensure that the design and manufacturing of parts meet the technical and control requirements defined by the client through technical validation of supplier proposals and review of the final production. Guarantee the dimensional and functional compliance of parts before approval for manufacturing and use.
Missions:
* Apply and verify compliance with the RPS (Reference Point System) standard in designs and validation processes.
* Review control points and fixation systems to ensure proper evaluation of parts.
* Validate supplier design proposals, ensuring they meet the defined technical requirements.
* Review technical drawings and calibration solutions, ensuring gauges and measurement methods are appropriate.
* Validate the final manufactured parts, checking that dimensional and technical specifications are met.
Requirements:
* Experience in validating plastic parts, especially injection-molded plastics, including specific gauges.
* Solid knowledge of RPS standards, including reference points, control points, and fixation systems.
* Experience in technical review and validation of supplier-developed solutions .
* Ability to work with technical drawings and measurement/calibration systems .
* Fluent English and spanish, essential for communication with suppliers and international clients.
