responsible for providing service to internal stakeholders and in particular Operations,
Procurement and Sales for all the Time Manufacturing Europe group's product brands,
especially Movex, in order to improve customer satisfaction, achieve overall cost savings
and renew and maintain the product portfolio.
He is also responsible for providing local support to organize the ordering process to keep
production running.
Head of Local Team manages the preparation of technical documentation for the
manufacture, assembly and installation of locally manufactured products, including an
appropriate level of customization. He actively participates in local discussions with sales,
production and quality to find solutions in case of problems and satisfy the Customer.
Head of Local Team is in regular contact with:
- Internally:
o In contact with colleagues from the Design Office (technical exchanges) Europe
o Exchanges with the managers of the production teams (problem solving-continuous
improvement, bug reporting and training).
o In contact with the purchasing departments (sourcing for prototypes and cost
reduction), logistics (nomenclature, difficulties and supply needs).
o In relation with the sales department for feasibility studies and submission of
tenders.
o In relation to the quality and methods departments (technical support)
o In relation with the training department/technical unit (training and bug reporting).
- And external :
o In contact with suppliers (technical assistance from the purchasing department) and
laboratories.
o In contact with subcontractors (Transmission of manufacturing files and
adjustments according to their feedback).
o In contact with the manufacturers.
o In contact with certification bodies.
o In contact with the other entities of the TIME group (technical exchanges).
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main missions:
- Manage your team.
- To ensure compliance with Spanish, European and International directives and standards.
- Carry out feasibility studies and partially respond to calls for tenders.
- Manage and monitor the schedules of the various projects.
- Manage and monitor the indicators of the local and European research office.
- Validate the technical specifications of the requirement
- Validate design steps
- Participate in/manage the continuous improvement of products (machine) and
components and inform the European design office for the management of the change
- Ensure supplies for the production of prototypes and/or pre-series in relation to the
dedicated services.
- Inform your manager of ideas or improvements in order to harmonize practices within the
other European Local Teams
- Request technical support from the European engineering office
As these responsibilities are not limited, the Head of Local Team may participate in any project
of the group.
3. MAIN TASKS AND ACTIVITIES:
- Establish activity schedules and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Ensure the reporting of ongoing actions.
- Analyze the customers request for feasibility studies.
- Ensure in production a follow-up of the assembly and its adequacy with the specifications
- Assist production and/or the Quality Department as an expert for the resolution of
problems related to manufacturing or approval constraints
- Ensure the adequacy of the studies and the constraints related to the customer's needs
- Standardization and Directive: technical assistance and choices with the services
concerned.
- Ensure the application of design rules.
- Validate user/business documentation.
- Select and qualify components
- Ensure the regulatory compliance of the project (EN 280 Standard / Machine Directive,
etc.)
- Ensure that information is managed or given for the updating of the commercial database
and consistency between machines and options
