The EMEA Project Manager is responsible for coordinating the delivery of services into our projects in his / her region.
Once assigned to a project, he / she is the single point of contact for business stakeholders on this project. He / she is in charge of coordinating all relevant internal or external contributors to deliver the service that meets business requirements.
Main purposes of this position:
* Ensure successful service delivery — SLA achievement and high customer satisfaction.
* Utilize the infrastructure service catalog effectively to meet business needs.
* Communicate appropriately regarding issues and opportunities—drive action and results.
* Remove obstacles to satisfaction and financial performance.
Main activities/responsibilities:
* Act as a technical project manager for the Zone Delivery Service.
* Analyze business application infrastructure needs.
* Collaborate with I&O architects to design solutions when standard options are unavailable.
* Coordinate Managed Services Providers for project delivery.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinate third-party infrastructure suppliers involved in projects.
* Validate and coordinate business application project acceptance.
* Ensure smooth operation transition.
* Prepare service and project status reports.
* Follow up on service delivery performance.
* Work with clients and operations teams to identify service improvements.
* Promote health and safety standards through leadership and adherence to policies.
Must-have requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
* Experience working with offshore outsourcing organizations.
* Experience in global roll-out management.
* At least 5 years of project management experience.
Technical/functional skills:
* Understanding of operations constraints in a global, outsourced IT environment.
* Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, others).
* Understanding of data center infrastructure and technologies (Cisco UCS, EMC, etc.).
* Familiarity with ITIL, ITSM, and industry best practices.
* Experience managing infrastructure projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
* Ability to deliver 24/7 infrastructure services.
* Excellent documentation and communication skills.
* Knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
Certifications:
* Primary: PMP
* Secondary: SCRUM
* ITIL v3 certified
