Who should get paid and how much?Utopia Music is bridging the data gap by connecting global consumption, accurate metadata, and fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. Our goal is to unlock creative value and enable** Fair Pay For Every Play** to make a better world for Music. The solutions we offer do not threaten to usurp the role of industry incumbents - it is about bringing transparency in the industry and supporting efficient royalty collection for all.**THE ROLE**The marketing copywriter will focus on helping the content team write and develop multimedia content that will be shared on social media, digital platforms, internally, and in print. You will help spread the word about the Utopia brand, make sure to implement the company’s storytelling, align all internal and external communications to our guidelines, brainstorm original content ideas in various formats, edit third party content that will be branded under Utopia, and make sure that our TOV is recognizable across the board.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- You will be responsible for creating and managing the editorial calendar- You will write content for different multimedia platforms including but not limited to blogs, ebooks, webinars, infographics, film scripts, animations, landing pages, campaigns, print marketing material, posts etcetera- You will edit any internal and external content that requires it including white papers,official communications, case studies, podcast transcripts, decks etcetera- You will work closely with the SEO manager and optimize the content marketing funnel- You will maintain tonality and style guidelines across all marketing copy and content- You will brainstorm new ideas and content proposals**REQUIREMENTS**- You have 1-2 years of either journalism or copywriting experience- You understand digital content data analytics and can report and optimize content- You are either a native English speaker or can write to a native level- You have basic knowledge of content marketing- You are organized and are detail oriented- You feel comfortable working cross functionally and with external stakeholders- Experience in either Music or Tech preferred but not required**WHAT WE OFFER**- Great atmosphere -** we live, love & breathe music & tech!**- Working in an impact oriented team and inclusive company culture.- An experienced team to learn from, with proven track records in multiple startups and big tech companies.- Our** flexible remote policy **provides Utopians the freedom to work either from one of our inspiring offices or from home.- We celebrate being an international and multicultural company.- **Competitive benefits; packages depend on location.** You’ll be given more details on this during the interview process.**UTOPIANS**As we want to bring transparency, trust, and clarity to the music industry we serve, we know a change comes from within.
