In this role you will build and maintain strong partnerships with different stakeholders. /p h3Tasks And Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork with the global MES team on the transformation of the existing MES landscape towards a cloud-native architecture based on OpenShift / Kubernetes and PostgreSQL, and contribute to MES deployments involving Docker containerization and Oracle database integration. /li liContribute to the automation, integration, standardization, optimisation and operation of MES solutions built on existing MES templates. /li liSupport within the system life cycle (design, planning, implementation, and run) of specific local and global manufacturing solutions. /li liLead small to medium manufacturing execution implementation projects at production sites worldwide in cooperation with other IT units and the business community. /li liCollaborate with OT teams to ensure seamless integration of MES with shop floor systems and a deep understanding of OT processes and data flows. /li liSupport the basic creation and configuration of Master Batch Records (MBRs), with an understanding of their role in manufacturing and quality processes. /li liProvide incident and problem management support for MES deployments across all regions, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of system reliability. /li liLead structured investigations into recurring or high-impact MES issues using root‑cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams). /li liDocument all investigations in compliance with GMP and regulatory standards, supporting audit readiness and traceability. /li liAnalyse incident trends to identify systemic issues and propose improvements to MES templates, deployment strategies, or integration points. /li liFacilitate cross‑functional meetings to align stakeholders on investigation outcomes and next steps. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li1–3 years of professional experience in production processes with a focus on IT systems or engineering. /li liKnowledge or first experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (especially Körber PAS‑X 3.2 / 3.3) is advantageous. /li liGood knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies (Windows/Linux operating systems, Citrix) and database systems (Oracle / PostgreSQL). /li liStrong team player with a solution‑oriented approach and ability to learn, working in an international and intercultural environment. /li liExcellent command of English. /li liBachelor’s / master’s degree in IT, engineering, or a similar natural sciences field. /li liUnderstanding of OT environments and their role in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including data acquisition and control systems. /li liNice to have knowledge of Docker or RedHat OpenShift / Kubernetes. /li liNice to have experience with MBR design and lifecycle management within MES platforms, preferably in regulated environments. /li liNice to have hands‑on experience with Docker‑based deployments and Oracle database administration or integration in manufacturing IT systems. /li /ul h3#IamBoehringerIngelheim because… /h3 pWe are continuously working to design the best experience for you.
