**What we expect from you**:
Integrated into the Commercial & Clean Energy area, you will be responsible for overseeing Production/Demand Planning, Logistics/Execution, and Procurement to ensure an efficient, cost-effective supply chain aligned with business objectives. This includes strategic planning, logistics management, process optimization, and team leadership to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction. In Procurement, you will lead the team, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships. Additionally, you will align sales and production plans to guarantee efficient production, optimal inventory, and supply management.
**Some of your main functions will be**:
Be the connection with Trading so Supply Chain gets the market demand and coordinate with Production product availability and production targets. Consider what if scenarios short, medium and long-term view, to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production.
Define and manage inventories of necessary products, materials and feedstocks, to ensure adequate supply and avoid shortages or excesses, defining the right level of inventory to minimize working capital.
Coordinate Supply/Demand of products and feedstocks, ensuring an adequate balance. Must get from Trading the market demand so an appropriate production plan can be done and inform about how much feedstocks are needed to meet the demand. Coordinate with Sustainability requirements from Trading to meet Customer/Market request/needs.
Coordinate the asset turnarounds with the rest of the areas so everybody is aligned on the supply / demand balance and feedstocks needs, so product availability could fit customer demand. Optimize distribution costs and raw material costs.
Control, guard, define and safeguard product stocks.
Coordinate the reception, transfer, and delivery of products. Lead the execution/logistic team to execute the shipping program and ensure that product is delivered and feedstcoks are received according to plan. This team is the link with customers/suppliers so all operations are aligned as well between parties.
Manage the planning and programming of logistics activities, distribution operations and the contracting of maritime terminals, ensuring efficient and smooth logistics. Negotiate the rental of potential external storage facilities if requested by the business and provide input about the optimal logistic solutions for Commercial operations.
Negotiation and contracting of land transport (road, rail, multimodal, etc.) and maritime and river transport (chartering).
Lead the Purchasing/Procurement department of the organization, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the procurement process. Define and oversee the process of contracting goods and services, searching for appropriate suppliers and negotiating favorable agreements for the organization. The role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with various departments. The Head of Procurement plays a crucial role in driving cost savings, mitigating risks, and maintaining compliance.
**What we are looking for**:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or engineering
Relevant experience in similar positions, preferably in the energy sector
Fluent in written and spoken English
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.
Exhibits a Lean-Agile Mindset with strong problem-solving skills and strong business acumen.
Advanced consulting, influencing and negotiation skills; ability to ensure strategic alignment with multiple parties.
