MISSION
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and directing all activities within the Group Shared Services Center based in Madrid, ensuring compliance with Group and local process for each country. This role involves managing a team of accountants and vendors accountants, preparing financial reports under the instructions of the Group Financial Services & Accounting and ensuring the financial compliance within the Group Shared Services Center and the Countries.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Group Shared Services Center employees.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annually KPI on the Group Shared Services Center activity to HQ team.
- Ensure good communication and regular exchanges with accounting managers in each country
- Report to HQ Financial Services Team
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures and ensure the local application.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Manage internal audits and ensure compliance with procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to provide relevant financial information
- Train and develop the accounting team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Previous experience of 3-5 years in an accounting firm (big four type is a plus), preferably in a leadership position.
- Knowledge of accounting in Spain and ability to learn other countries regulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience with SAP, Real Estate companies and other financial management tools.
