Your Mission

As a Junior Software Engineer at Siemens Advanta, you will support the development and maintenance of innovative software solutions, working under the guidance of senior developers to build robust applications, automate processes, and maintain product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in building and maintaining software applications, writing clean code, and contributing to various stages of the development lifecycle under supervision.

- Help create simple integrations, scripts, and automate processes to improve system efficiency.
\n
- Provide first and second-level support for internal applications, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions.
\n
- Actively participate in team meetings (planning, refinement, retrospectives) and collaborate closely with business and technical teams, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

- Conduct basic testing, document your work, and consistently use Git for source code management to ensure code integrity.

- Proactively notify your team of any potential challenges or risks related to your assigned tasks.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
\n
- Foundational programming skills in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
\n
- Familiarity with modern development frameworks like .NET Core, Angular, React, or Node.js.
\n
- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
\n
- Experience using Git for source code management.
\n
- Strong interest and proven ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
\n
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills; proactive approach to knowledge sharing.
\n
- Awareness of APIs, REST principles, and general software architecture is a plus.
