We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented IT Support Technician to join our client’s team in San Sebastián, Spain. This is a 100% on-site role providing essential technical assistance in both Spanish and English for a key client.
The Role:
As the first point of contact, you will resolve technical issues and ensure a seamless experience for the client’s workforce.
- Initial Troubleshooting: Handle incoming requests via phone, email, and chat for password resets, software glitches, and connectivity issues.
- Ticket Management: Monitor and document support requests in the ITSM system, categorising and prioritising according to urgency.
- Hardware/Software Support: Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, peripherals, and Windows OS.
- Escalation: Identify complex issues and elevate them to L2 support teams when necessary.
Shift Patterns & Location:
- Work Pattern: 5 days per week (including some weekends, early morning, and late evening shifts, on a rotating basis)
Requirements:
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both Spanish and English is mandatory.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows environments and hardware troubleshooting.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, patience, and a problem-solving mindset.
Compensation:
- Salary: €23,000 – €25,000 Gross per annum, depending on experience (DOE).
- Contract: Permanent, full-time position in one of Spain's most vibrant coastal cities.
