Account Manager – Valencia
Booking.com is looking for an Account Manager with a travel or hotel sales background to join our team in Valencia on a permanent basis. The position requires availability to travel up to 50% of the time across Valencia and Murcia regions, with a full driver's license. The role is hybrid, with two days based in our Valencia office.
Role Description
You will support the Local Partner Services team in Valencia, informing and consulting accommodation partners on their business performance, market opportunities, and industry trends. You will empower partners on how to use booking.com tools and products to optimize their performance on the platform and create an amazing experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that generate future sales and repeat business.
* Maintain strong relationships with accommodation partners (e.g., visiting accommodations, contacting regularly).
* Act on leads, partner feedback, and competitor activity.
* Translate statistics and insights about booking.com competitors and local market knowledge into relevant actions.
* Provide training to accommodations on the online reservation system.
* Support partner events, organize Booking.com events and webinars, and participate in external events and trade fairs representing the company.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
* Significant experience in a relevant hotel or travel account management/ sales/ business development function.
* Proficient in spoken and written English and Spanish.
* Affinity or experience within e-commerce and/or travel industry.
* Proactive, sense of responsibility, can work independently.
* Accurate, strong analytical skills, eye for detail.
* A team player, self ‑motivated, flexible and open to change.
* Driver’s license.
* Availability to travel up to 50% of time, with two days based in our office.

* Strong work ethic; self ‑directed and resourceful.

* Good communication and analytical skills.
