Your challenges
As RDQI Intern, you will report to a Meals R&D Packaging Scientist and will support the Packaging Team in the following tasks:
* Support on the organization and execution of different packaging projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, including line trials, discussion with suppliers…
* Participation on productivity, sustainability and new materials investigation projects
* Technical reports, analysis and interpretation of results that lead to conclusions and recommendations. Technical curiosity and collaborative mindset.
* Gain hands‑on experience in our factory, with the focus on working with the following material families: corrugated, flexibles & rigid.
* Work together with experienced technical experts that will help you to develop your knowledge within the packaging world.
Qualifications
* Studying Food Technology/Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc, with a strong academic record.
* General knowledge of packaging materials & how they interact with food
* Fluent in spoken and written English & Spanish, other European languages are an advantage (German)
* Previous internship/job experience valued
* International experience/profile valued (ex. Erasmus)
* Well‑organized, team oriented and enthusiastic about working with an international team
* Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work with high degree of autonomy
* Drive for Results, planning and Priority Setting

6 months + potential another 6 months
Start in March 2026
This role is based in Hospital de Orbigo (León).
