Amazon is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Africa, Middle East, Turkey (AMET) Delivery Service Partner business. This is a unique opportunity to own Delivery Service Partner (DSP) account management based in Istanbul, Turkey, and to collaborate with various internal teams to create, innovate, and transform our processes to launch new delivery programs across the AMET region, creating opportunities for our DSPs.
This role will require some travel throughout the region.
Key job responsibilities
* End-to-end ownership of TR DSP recruitment and vetting
* Launch programs in partnership with internal stakeholders and report on the status of key objectives that affect deliverables
* Develop a keen understanding of Last Mile Delivery methods, working with the Partner Acquisition Business Development Team to bring programs to Delivery Service Partners across the AMET region
* Work with key stakeholders to understand program needs, launch timelines, and challenges to develop processes and deliver against the team roadmap for the launch of Delivery Partners in AMET
* Build collaborative, influential internal and external relationships with Product, Program, Field teams, and other critical stakeholders to gather information, set action plans, and monitor stakeholder execution to improve program execution
* Communicate effectively with key stakeholders on core deliverables
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years of experience in developing program strategies, executing plans, and influencing senior stakeholders
* 5+ years of experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
* 5+ years of experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
* Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps)
* Bachelor's degree
* Fluent in Turkish (speaking, writing, reading)
* Experience in business development or sales roles with prior experience negotiating deals in logistics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience building processes, project management, and scheduling
* Applied knowledge of CRM tools, e.g., Salesforce
