Senior R&D Engineer - Software Developer for Material Apps
Ansys is looking for a Senior R&D Engineer to contribute to the development of backend components and web frontends in the area of Mechanical simulation software. In this role, the Senior R&D Engineer will participate in the design, implementation, testing and maintenance of next-generation applications for the management and calibration of material models.
Performs complex development activities that may require extensive analysis in areas including user experience, software design and solver research
Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years' experience, MS with 3 years' experience, or PhD with 1 year experience
Relevant industry experience in software development
Good knowledge and experience programing with Python and Javascript/Typescript
Experience developing web applications with frameworks such as Angular or React
