The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is responsible for achieving short-term and long-term company goals at the local level. The role involves being a therapeutic area scientific expert, discussing our products, patient treatment trends, and studies with a defined audience of leading specialists, including physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and scientific society board members. MSLs should have their own activity plan and objectives, aligned with the country and brand plans. Key responsibilities include staying updated on medical and scientific knowledge, developing and maintaining a contact network with leading specialists, communicating medical benefits of products, representing the company in professional associations, and engaging in scientific communication, medical education activities, advisory boards, market access discussions, and pre-approval activities, all with a focus on scientific accuracy and objectivity.
