Our client is a pharmaceutical company focused on generic drugs, seeking a Global Business Development Director to lead their international growth initiatives.
Responsibilities:
1. Define and lead the company's global business development strategy, emphasizing out-licensing agreements to penetrate large, high-potential markets.
2. Identify and establish B2B partnerships with companies specializing in generic drugs, including negotiating and executing licensing, co-development, and strategic alliance agreements.
3. Analyze business opportunities and potential partners to ensure alignment with the company's objectives and product portfolio.
4. Lead and develop a high-potential business development team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
5. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Legal, Finance, R&D) to structure and execute deals successfully.
6. Monitor market trends to identify new growth opportunities and develop strategic recommendations.
