About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Strategy Associate to join our Revenue Growth Management team.
This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to work on the most important business problems at Birdman. You will act as an internal consultant, partnering with senior leaders to turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses, financial models, and executive-ready recommendations.
This role is ideal for someone with consulting-grade thinking, strong business judgment, and the ability to work independently with data.
Impact & Ownership
Lead projects from problem definition to executive recommendation
Translate ambiguous business problems into structured frameworks and analyses
Build financial and operational models to quantify business impact
Own recurring executive reporting for assigned channels
Support MBR/QBR preparation and strategic business reviews
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Data
Use AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, deck drafting, and decision support
Responsibilities
Conduct independent analysis using Excel, Python, and/or SQL
Build models such as P&L scenarios, sensitivity analyses, business cases, pricing studies, and market sizing
Run variance analyses, trend decomposition, and performance deep-dives across channels and SKUs
Prepare consulting-grade executive decks, one-pagers, and decision materials
Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Maintain project documentation, intake trackers, and reusable templates
Partner with the Commercial Data Scientist on advanced modeling or data-heavy analyses
Experience
2–4 years of experience in one of the following: Strategy consulting, Corporate strategy, Revenue Growth Management, Trade marketing analytics, Investment banking, Private equity / buy-side analysis and Corporate finance or FP&A in a multinational company
Skills
Strong structured thinking and problem-solving ability
Advanced Excel for financial modeling and scenario analysis
Advanced PowerPoint for executive storytelling and consulting-style decks
Python and/or SQL for independent data analysis
Strong business and commercial sense
Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
Comfort working in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Language & Location
Professional English required
Based in Guadalajara or willing to relocate
Nice to Have
Experience in CPG, retail, or eCommerce
Power BI experience
Familiarity with consulting frameworks such as MECE, Pyramid Principle, Porter, or McKinsey 7S
Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot for analytical work
Exposure to C-level stakeholders
