The position is REMOTE in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal).
We are looking for a Senior Observability Splunk Engineer (5 years of experience) with strong technical skills and excellent English communication abilities to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Our client is an insurance and financial services company offering products in protection, savings, investments, pensions, and mortgages.
What you will do:
* Build, maintain, and coach around observability tools like Splunk and ITSI.
* Set up dashboards, guard data quality, and coach users on how to utilize these tools within their business units.
Additional responsibilities:
* Discuss desired functionalities with users.
* Implement new functionalities.
* Monitor quality and integrate your product into existing facilities.
* Work in a team and act as a backup for colleagues.
* Coach colleagues on skills you excel in.
Technical requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of Splunk experience.
* Knowledge of Infra and Cloud (AWS / Azure).
* Ability to independently manage projects.
* Ability to coach/train others in your product.
* Splunk Core Certified Power User or Advanced Power User certification required.
