This position involves oversight of engineering deliverables related to mechanical sorting, anaerobic digestion, and renewable energy systems. /ppThe ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in industrial plant engineering, combined with a collaborative leadership approach to drive effective project execution. /ppbr/ppKey Objectives /ppbr/pulliDeliver engineering document packages within agreed schedule and budget. /liliCoordinate and motivate the engineering team to ensure alignment, collaboration, and productivity. /liliMaintain the highest standards of safety and environmental performance through proactive design review processes. /liliIdentify and implement cost-effective design improvements. /liliEnsure quality, accuracy, and consistency across all project deliverables. /li /ulpbr/ppResponsibilities /ppbr/pulliGather project information from the Project Manager and organize resources accordingly. /liliDevelop and maintain the engineering document list, assigning tasks to internal and external contributors. /liliPlan, coordinate, and monitor engineering activities to ensure alignment with overall project timelines. /liliReview deliverables to ensure compliance with quality and contractual standards. /liliLead design reviews, risk assessments, and coordination meetings as required. /liliSupport commissioning activities (FAT/SAT) and provide technical input to site teams. /liliTrack engineering costs and hours to ensure adherence to project budgets. /liliRecord and report non-conformities and lessons learned for continuous improvement. /li /ulpbr/ppEducation Experience /ppbr/pp• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering. /pp • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in the industrial plant sector (energy, waste, chemical, or related fields). /ppbr/ppTechnical Competencies /ppbr/pulliStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control engineering principles. /liliProven experience in industrial plant design, equipment specification, and control systems. /liliFamiliarity with regulations governing waste treatment, renewable energy, and biogas facilities. /liliAbility to interpret contracts, scopes of work, and project limits. /liliFluent in Spanish with working knowledge of English. /li /ulpbr/ppSoft Skills /ppbr/pulliStrong adaptability and problem-solving mindset. /liliExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines. /liliEffective communicator and collaborator within multidisciplinary teams. /liliAnalytical thinker able to resolve technical challenges efficiently — including remotely when needed. /li /ul
