Solar Service Team Intern – Madrid
Duration: 6‑month internship, full‑time (35 hours per week), paid with the possibility of a full‑time contract after successful completion.
Objective
Gain hands‑on experience with the operation of a large‑scale photovoltaic (PV) plant and develop a comprehensive understanding of plant components, including panels, inverters, cable transformation centers and trackers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver installation training to clients/installers, ensuring Huawei equipment is installed securely, reliably and appropriately.
- Guide customers/ installers through inverter start‑up, including turn‑on, configuration and verification of proper operation.
- Operate and explain the Huawei monitoring system—build the system, demonstrate communication and monitoring functions, and provide clear instructions for client use.
- Troubleshoot faulty equipment by locating faults via remote support and instructing customers/staff in recovery of defective equipment.
- Assist in ticket and incident management as part of the local support team.
Qualifications
- Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Energy Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (official qualifications are a plus).
- No prior experience required.
