Director Procurement – Energy Category – Bilbao (HQ Office)
Responsibilities
Develop and implement short, mid, and long‑term energy category strategies aligned with business goals.
Lead strategic sourcing projects and deliver measurable savings while maintaining vendor service and product quality.
Drive supplier relationship management and establish preferred supplier frameworks globally.
Ensure acquisition of all eligible energy subsidies and other financial benefits.
Collaborate with operations to jointly drive energy consumption optimization projects.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering, logistics, procurement, or business.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the energy/industry sector at an international level.
Proficient in English – both verbal and written.
Strong analytical and strategic mindset with business acumen.
Deep knowledge of European and UK commodity markets for sourcing power, gas, and fuel.
Understanding of CO2 EUA ETS (1 & 2) and familiarity with EPAD systems for Nordic power sourcing (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark) is a plus.
Experience with sustainability initiatives, including green strategy, CO₂ reduction, and PPA implementation. xpzdshu
