Celebrate the essence of Mallorca through bespoke experiences, culinary journeys, and rejuvenating wellness.About the jobBased at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as the Reservations Manager, you will lead the reservations department, ensuring a seamless and efficient reservations process supporting the hotel’s goals. Working closely with the Director of Marketing & Commerce and the Revenue Management team, you will play a key role in maximizing room revenue through effective inventory control, rate loading, and data-driven reporting.As Reservations Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Supervising daily reservations operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.Preparing and distributing reports (daily pick-up, group pick-up, segmentation, pace) to support revenue decisions.Ensuring correct rate loading and inventory management aligned with demand forecasts.Conducting audits of PMS, CRS, and Sales & Catering platforms for data integrity and system optimization.Maintaining communication with Sales regarding group blocks, cut-off dates, and booking pace.Being knowledgeable of room types, rate structures, promotions, and selling strategies for accurate quoting.Monitoring competitor pricing and distribution channels using tools like OTA Insight and STR.Participating in weekly Revenue and Commercial meetings with reservations data and insights.Coordinating with Central Reservations Office for consistency in messaging and availability.Supporting short- and long-term revenue forecasts with Revenue Management.Analyzing demand drivers to adjust selling strategies.Ensuring group reservations are properly set up and monitored.Performing quality checks on rate quoting, restrictions, and service standards.Managing team performance, training, and development.Maintaining updated records in all relevant systems.Supporting Ecommerce and online distribution activities.Executing additional tasks as assigned.We expect from you:
Experience and educationA university degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business, or related field is highly desirable.Previous experience leading reservations in luxury hospitality is essential.Proven ability to manage reservation teams, optimize processes, and support revenue strategies.Technical SkillsHigh computer literacy, especially in hotel systems and Microsoft Office.Excellent knowledge of reservations systems (PMS, CRS, Channel Manager, Sales & Catering).Understanding of rate structures, inventory management, and distribution channels.Ability to analyze booking trends, forecast accuracy, and channel contribution.Experience managing group bookings and maintaining rate integrity across channels.Our commitment to youLearning & Development programs to support your growth.MOstay program offering complimentary nights and attractive rates for you and your loved ones.Health & Colleague Wellness initiatives to support work-life balance.Retirement plans tailored to your service and role.J-18808-Ljbffr
