The Opportunity We are looking for a
Power Validation & Certification Engineer
to join our technology team, supporting the validation, commissioning, and certification of advanced power conversion systems for renewable energy and energy storage applications. In this role, you will work at the intersection of hardware, embedded software, and grid integration to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and compliance. This position offers strong laboratory exposure, involvement in international certification, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge PV and battery-integrated solutions deployed worldwide.
How You’ll Make an Impact Define and execute validation strategies, test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for prototypes and series products. Perform commissioning and validation of power converters and control systems in laboratory, factory, and field environments. Analyse logs, signals, and performance data, generating structured technical reports to support engineering, quality, and certification teams. Manage full test traceability, from requirement specification through final validation reporting. Lead or support certification activities (UL, IEC, grid codes) and component approval processes. Develop and automate laboratory test benches, including HIL systems and advanced measurement instrumentation.
Your Background Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (minimum requirement). Professional experience in the validation of electronic products and/or embedded systems. Strong knowledge of power electronics converters, electrical system design, and control strategies. Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, network analysers, multimeters, temperature recorders, etc.). Experience with certification standards such as UL1741, IEC62477, IEC62109, IEC60076 and grid compliance requirements is highly valued. High proficiency in Spanish and English; strong safety mindset and motivation to work with new technologies.
