The Global Fixed Income business, comprising G-10 Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets, is a key component within BBVA’s CIB division. Our technology, and the team is highly regarded within CIB business and senior IT management.BBVA CIB seeks a new Head of FI Engineering to work multi-functionally with the business to provide the vision, strategic direction, and initiative roadmap for enterprise-impacting, groundbreaking, technology imperatives, including legacy system modernization and software as a service.Main functions:- Manage and develop a team, working on our Fixed Income product family and provide expert level IT technical lead services, including the direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of new and existing technologies and tools.- Conduct regular one on one and staff meetings. Hire, evaluate and counsel crew. Set performance standards, reviews performance, and provide feedback.- Work with the Heads of G10 Rates, Credit and EM to ensure adequate resources are in place.
