We are the Production Security domain within CIB ITO, delivering security services across CIB EMEA.We protect production environments, covering defense, IAM, network security and CSIRT operations.Our Defense‐Data Protection team defines, pilots and administers data‐protection solutions for structured and unstructured data.We work closely with the CyberDefense team to detect risks, run assessments and perform pen‐tests.
As a Data Protection Engineer you will keep data‐protection tools operational and ensure full monitoring coverage.You will handle ServiceNow tickets, deploy policies, automate tasks and support the CSIRT with accurate alerts.You will drive continuous improvement of data‐protection solutions across CIB EMEA.
Maintain data‐protection tools in operational condition.Handle Level 1/2 requests via ServiceNow tickets.Ensure 100% monitoring coverage of shared drives and databases across all scopes.Deploy policies and rules for activity monitoring and data classification.You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.You are fluent in English (B2/C1); French is a plus.You hold an ITIL Foundation certificate (desirable).You have hands‐on experience with data‐protection tools such as Varonis or Guardium.You understand storage technologies (NetApp, Dell EMC/Unity) and Windows/Unix security permissions.You are familiar with Oracle, MSSQL and SQL scripting.You possess basic networking knowledge and automation skills (scripting/orchestration).Structured training, clear career plans and national/international mobility.~ Flexible compensation plan and 50 % hybrid‐working model.~We are BNP Paribas, a leading European bank with a presence in 64 countries.Our CIB ITO division delivers technology and operations services that enable secure, efficient banking.The Production Security domain protects critical data and ensures rapid incident response across EMEA.
