Overview
Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the School of Biomedical Sciences. The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the financial matters of the School, including handling procurement processes such as Request for Quotation (RFQ), processing of payments, purchase orders, invoices and reimbursement claims, etc.
* Assist in budgetary control matters and undertake other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
* Collaborate with different stakeholders and perform routine administrative duties to ensure smooth office operation.
Qualifications
* 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics;
OR minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics.
* Preferably a recognized degree with at least 2 years of work experience.
* Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills;
IT proficiency;
ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
* Attentive to details, a good team player with self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility.
* Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Clerk II. Degree holders will be offered the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant.
