The Supply Chain Planner ensures the availability of components, hardware, and materials required for production and customer delivery. This role blends hands-on operational planning with strategic process optimization, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Demand Planning:
* Develop and maintain short- and long-term demand forecasts collaborating with Sales, Operations, and Product teams.
* Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust planning models based on business needs and market signals.
Supply Planning:
* Ensure adequate inventory levels for hardware, components, and critical materials.
* Create and manage purchase orders to meet production timelines.
* Identify and mitigate supply risks proactively.
Production & Logistics Coordination:
* Align with manufacturing partners, assembly teams, and logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery.
* Oversee the inbound/outbound flow of goods and ensure efficient end-to-end supply chain operations.
* Coordinate lead times, safety stock, and inventory buffers.
Supplier Management:
* Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturing partners.
* Track vendor performance (OTD, quality, lead times) and escalate issues when needed.
* Support supplier onboarding and qualification processes.
Process Improvement & ERP Management:
* Identify and implement improvements in planning tools, procurement workflows, and inventory management.
* Manage, maintain, and optimize ERP systems (e.G., Odoo or similar) to support supply chain operations, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency.
* Drive ERP-related process enhancements, including system configuration, data governance, and cross-functional adoption.
* Participate in the development of new SOPs and scalable supply chain processes for a growing environment.
Data & Reporting:
* Manage supply chain KPIs (forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, OTD, etc.).
* Provide regular visibility to leadership with dashboards and performance reports.
Qualifications / Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in the field.
* 3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, procurement, or similar roles, ideally in a hardware, electronics, or deep-tech environment.
* Experience working with contract manufacturers or assembly partners.
* Knowledge of demand forecasting tools or supply chain analytics platforms.
* Background in tech or hardware is a plus
* Strong analytical skills and high proficiency with Excel/Sheets;
experience with ERP/MRPsystems such as Odoo is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment.
* Problem solver with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced scale-up with evolving processes.
* Fluency in English (spoken & written)
