Our client, a global industrial company, is seeking an experienced Site Manager for its manufacturing site in the Valencia region, Spain. In this key leadership role, the Site Manager holds full responsibility for operational performance, covering production, supply chain, engineering, quality, EHS, and continuous improvement. The aim is to drive efficiency, cost control, delivery reliability, and the ongoing development of the site to support future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the site operations strategy aligned with overall business goals, ensuring strong performance in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people development.
Foster a culture of Operational Excellence and continuous improvement while optimizing organizational structure, focusing on customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and cost management.
Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to secure on-time delivery, future capacity, and support for new product introductions by aligning supply chain and production resources.
Manage the site’s operational budget and CAPEX plans, overseeing their execution to support both current operations and future growth initiatives.
Ensure full compliance with quality systems, environmental, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements; act as the site representative during audits and customer visits.
Oversee process engineering, maintenance of machinery, tools, and infrastructure to guarantee operational reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate closely with other sites and functions to harmonize operational standards, exchange best practices, and leverage the global network for local site development.
Requirements:
At least 10 years of proven site or multi-site leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in injection molding or precision production.
Strong leadership and communication skills within matrix organizations, with experience in facility ramp-ups and expansions.
Strategic, hands-on approach with a successful track record in executing operational strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
Solid technical understanding of injection molding technologies (preferred) and expertise in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or similar (Master’s preferred).
Fluent in English and Spanish.
