What You’ll Do
* Design and optimize data pipelines for cleaning, integrating, and transforming large datasets.
* Develop and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure using Azure services like Data Factory, Databricks, and Data Lake Storage.
* Create dimensional data models and data warehouses to support reporting and business intelligence.
* Write efficient Python, SQL, and PySpark code, ensuring scalability and high performance.
* Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high‑quality data solutions.
What You'll Need
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented data engineer passionate about building scalable, cloud‑based data solutions. Ideally, you bring:
* 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining data pipelines in a software engineering environment.
* Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices such as OOP, TDD, CI/CD, and version control.
* Proven expertise in PySpark and SQL, including query optimization and understanding Spark internals.
* Hands‑on experience with Azure services like Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, DevOps, and Data Lake Storage.
* Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling and data warehousing principles.
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, combined with strong communication abilities.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Familiarity with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and Docker; experience with Kafka is a plus.
