The Group is experiencing significant growth driven by its focus on off-site construction methods (OSM), enabling the delivery of turnkey projects while minimizing on-site construction time.The RoleDue to continued expansion, we are seeking to strengthen our HR function by hiring a Payroll & HR Controller Specialist based in Zaragoza.Reporting into HR, this role is responsible for managing payroll operations and leading HR controlling activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency of employee-related costs. While the position sits within HR, it requires close collaboration with the Finance team to ensure proper cost allocation, budgeting alignment, and financial reporting accuracy.This is a critical role at the intersection of HR operations and governance, combining executional precision with analytical capability.What You’ll Do: Payroll ManagementManage end-to-end payroll processing in collaboration with payroll providers in all the countries we develop our business. Coordinate payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, variable compensation, overtime, bonuses, and benefits.Ensure compliance with labour regulations, tax regulations, and social security requirements.Act as the primary liaison with external payroll providers.Reconcile payroll data and ensure alignment between HR records and payroll outputs.Maintain payroll documentation and support internal and external audits.HR Controlling & Workforce Cost ManagementMonitor, analyse, and report on personnel costs (fixed and variable compensation, benefits, employer contributions).Prepare monthly HR cost reports and variance analysis versus budget and forecast.Support annual workforce budgeting and reforecasting processes in collaboration with Finance.Maintain accurate headcount and FTE tracking across entities and departments.Develop and maintain HR dashboards and KPIs (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, workforce cost ratios).Ensure strong internal controls and data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Finance to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting of personnel expenses.Provide workforce cost insights to support decision-making.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across payroll, HR analytics, and reporting processes.Support broader HR initiatives as required.What we’re Looking For:Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.5 years of experience in payroll and HR controlling or HR analytics roles.Strong knowledge of Spanish payroll process and experience in a multi-country environment.Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and personnel cost analysis.Advanced Excel skills; experience with HRIS and ERP systems is desirable.Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Proficiency in English is required.Why Join Us:Competitive salary and health& life insurance, pension plan and flex retribution Opportunity for career progression within a fast-growing international company.Exposure to HR operations across multiple European countries.Hybrid working model combining home office and on-site presence in Zaragoza.
