Job Summary

The Pipeline Integrity Sales Engineer – EAF will serve as the primary sales representative for SLB’s Pipeline Integrity business in the Europe and Africa regions. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships. The Sales Engineer will focus on promoting SLB’s pipeline leak detection and monitoring solutions, leveraging their technical expertise and sales acumen to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.

This is a customer-facing role requiring a deep understanding of pipeline integrity technologies, strong sales experience, and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned regions.

Responsibilities and Duties:
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share growth in the Europe and Africa regions.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities in pipeline leak detection, monitoring, and surveillance solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
* Collaborate with regional sales teams and business units to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
* Leverage domain expertise in pipeline integrity, leak detection, and monitoring systems to provide tailored solutions to customers.
* Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase SLB’s capabilities and value propositions.
* Provide technical support during the proposal and tendering process, including pricing, contractual reviews, and clarifications.
* Stay updated on industry trends, customer activities, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and threats.
* Collect and analyze market intelligence to inform strategic decision‑making.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably in the pipeline integrity, leak detection, or pipeline monitoring industry.
* Strong understanding of pipeline leak detection technologies, including computational leak detection systems (e.g., Mass Balance, NPW, e-RTTM, e-vpms).
* Familiarity with pipeline monitoring systems, fiber optic monitoring (DTS/DAS), and related technologies.
* Experience with hardware, SaaS, and hybrid solution sales models.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales management software.
* Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, particularly within Europe and Africa.
* Flexibility to work remotely or from a home office, depending on location.
* Ability to work with diverse teams and customers across different cultures and geographies.
