About the Role We are seeking an
experienced Construction Manager with an Electrical background to oversee and manage the delivery of a large-scale Substation project in Zaragoza. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on-site construction activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that all project milestones are achieved safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day construction operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules. Oversee subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to maintain productivity and quality standards. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor progress, manage project risks, and report regularly to senior project management. Coordinate with design, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues efficiently. Manage site documentation, permits, and inspections. Drive best practices in quality assurance, cost control, and construction efficiency.
Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale industrial, data center, power, or substation projects. Strong understanding of substation construction methodologies, project controls, and safety compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken). Ability to work collaboratively with multinational teams and diverse stakeholders.
