Role summary
The Sales Support Representative (SSR) is the primary point of contact for the customer and collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and other departments to respond to customer inquiries. The position works with the Sales leadership team in driving key initiatives and helping Flowserve to achieve its goals and maximize sales bookings and opportunity pipelines. The SSR will use data as a strategic asset to provide decision support, accurate planning of sales quota forecasting, and sales productivity reporting and efficiency analysis.
Your role
1. Preparing price quotes for pump spare parts and ensuring their timely dispatch
2. Checking business terms and conditions and documentation in SAP and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
3. Verifying customer orders and ensuring their fulfillment
4. Acting as the main contact for customers and the sales team in the area of pump spare parts
5. Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of pump applications and types, a clear understanding of parts, programs, and processes to best drive solutions
6. Sales support, recommending complementary products, and participating in meetings with customers
7. Create/maintain customer contract process standardizations in alignment with global processes.
Your profile
8. BS or BA Degree in relevant field
9. 0-2 years relevant experience Industry experience related to pumps/rotating equipment
10. Fluent knowledge of English and Dutch is a must
11. Experience with customer relationship management in the power generation and utility industries
12. Experience in Sales Force
13. Experience in pricing, contract review and ERP administration (SAP)
