In this role you will provide day-to-day EHS support across sites within a region, collaborating with field service teams, contractors, and management to ensure regulatory and GE Vernova safety standards. You will interpret laws, maintain emergency plans, train staff on risk mitigation, and drive continuous safety improvements. You’ll work closely with site managers to implement EHS programs and ensure a Zero Harm culture. This position offers impact across wind farm operations and service sites, with opportunity to shape risk controls and compliance practices.

• Interpret local and national EHS regulations and procedures for sites within scope
• Prepare and review EHS documentation and provide assessments
• Ensure customer EHS requirements are met for GE Vernova personnel access
• Develop and update site procedures aligned with management system processes
• Regularly review and test Emergency Plan and train personnel
• Train personnel on laws and risk mitigation, and perform risk assessments
• Support EHS program implementation with Site Manager
• Conduct quarterly emergency drills and site inspections
• Verify equipment and tools meet safety standards; manage contractor/mobility documentation
• Lead EHS audits, regulatory inspections, and documentation retention
• Oversee PPE management for staff and visitors
• Support contractor mobilization and MCE/Blades teams with up-to-date requirements
• Ensure GE Vernova applications (Gensuite, Comply Works, SGS) are properly used
• Report and close EHS events; participate in investigations and root cause analysis
• Promote training plans and cross-site safety improvements
• Liaise with contractors, local authorities, and customers on EHS matters
• Provide timely EHS incident reporting, investigation, and classification
• Support and motivate teams toward risk assessment and safety guidance
• Communicate EHS metrics and best practices to stakeholders
• Drive strategic alignment with Zero Harm vision across sites
• Coach and train site managers and leaders in safety initiatives
• Support regional EHS decisions with xpzdshu the Region EHS Manager and Service Director
• Maintain ongoing field engagement with technicians and leaders to reinforce safety
Responsabilidades
• Technical EHS background
• Master in EHS or equivalent (Técnico Superior PRL level noted)
• Physical ability to climb wind turbines
• Strong knowledge of local and regional EHS regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools
• Technical EHS expertise in risk assessment, audits, regulatory compliance, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• 5 years of wind field operations and/or EHS experience
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• Valid driving license
