The Golf Sales & Events Supervisor plays a key role in the commercial development and customer experience delivery at La Marquesa Golf. The position is responsible for supporting the growth of golf revenue through the management of Tour Operator relationships, hotel partnerships, group bookings and events, while ensuring the professional execution of the club’s marketing and communication activities.
Working closely with the Club Manager and in coordination with ION54, the role is responsible for executing the club’s marketing and commercial strategy, managing communication with Tour Operators, hotel partners, members and clients, and ensuring that all societies, groups and events are delivered with a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
The position acts as the primary commercial contact for Tour Operators, hotel partners and organized groups, while coordinating internally with the different departments of the club to ensure that group visits, tournaments and corporate events are delivered smoothly and to the highest operational standards.
The role is also responsible for managing the club’s external communications, supporting the development of targeted messaging for different audiences, and providing regular commercial reporting to the Club Manager.
This role requires a commercially minded, highly organized and service oriented professional capable of combining sales development, operational coordination, marketing execution and communication management.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Tour Operators, travel agencies and key commercial partners
* Act as the main point of contact for Tour Operators and group organizers
* Manage group requests, quotations, confirmations and follow up with Tour Operators
* Coordinate group bookings and tee time allocations with the golf operations team
* Ensure that Tour Operator agreements and commercial conditions are correctly implemented
* Monitor Tour Operator production and identify opportunities to grow golf tourism business
* Support the Club Manager in developing commercial strategies for Tour Operator markets
* Develop and maintain relationships with local hotels and accommodation partners
* Identify opportunities to generate golf business through hotel collaborations
* Coordinate golf experiences and packages with hotel partners
* Maintain regular communication with hotel sales teams and concierge departments
* Ensure hotel partners receive updated information regarding availability, promotions and services
* Support the development of partnerships that increase international visitor play
Group & Society Coordination
* Coordinate all operational aspects related to societies and group bookings
* Work closely with golf operations to ensure proper tee sheet planning for groups
* Coordinate with food and beverage and other departments when group services are required
* Ensure all groups receive a well organized and professional experience
* Act as the main contact for group leaders before and during their visit
* Ensure clear internal communication regarding group requirements and expectations
Events & Tournament Coordination
* Support the planning and execution of tournaments, corporate events and club competitions
* Coordinate operational requirements with internal departments
* Assist with event logistics including registrations, communications and event materials
* Ensure tournaments and events are delivered according to club standards
* Support the development of new event concepts that enhance the club’s commercial activity
Marketing Implementation
* Execute the marketing plan defined by the Club Manager in collaboration with ION54
* Support the implementation of promotional campaigns and commercial initiatives
* Assist with the development of marketing materials and promotional content
* Coordinate marketing activities related to events, societies and commercial promotions
* Ensure consistent communication of club offers and initiatives
Communications & CRM
* Manage communication with members, clients, Tour Operators and hotel partners
* Maintain and update the club’s CRM database and customer contact recordsCoordinate email communications, newsletters and customer messaging
* Ensure communications are adapted to the different audiences of the club
* Propose communication content and initiatives to the Club Manager for different customer segments
* Support the development of messaging aligned with the club’s commercial objectives
Customer Experience & Complaint Management
* Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints related to groups, events or services
* Handle customer feedback in a professional and solution oriented manner
* Coordinate internally with relevant departments to resolve operational issues
* Monitor satisfaction levels for groups, Tour Operators and partners
* Identify opportunities to improve the overall customer experience
Operational Coordination
* Coordinate closely with Golf Operations, Pro Shop, Food and Beverage and other departments
* Ensure that group and event requirements are clearly communicated internally
* Support operational planning during busy periods, tournaments and group arrivals
* Contribute to maintaining a high level of service delivery across all departments
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
* Prepare and present monthly commercial reports to the Club Manager
* Report on Tour Operator production, hotel partnerships and group activity
* Monitor performance of marketing campaigns and commercial initiatives
* Provide insights and recommendations to support revenue growth and customer development
* Track customer feedback and satisfaction trends
Requirements
* Previous experience in golf operations, tourism sales, hospitality sales or events management is preferred
* Strong commercial mindset and relationship building skills
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities
* Experience coordinating groups, events or customer activities
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
* Strong attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
Language requirements
* Fluency in Spanish and English is required
* Additional languages will be considered a strong advantage
Working Conditions
The role combines office based work with customer interaction and on site coordination during tournaments, societies and events. The position may require flexibility to work during weekends or special events when necessary.
