THE ROLE :
Join the Corporate Strategy & Transformation Team at Astara! We’re looking for a dynamic and driven professional to join our Vehicle Sales area within the Strategy & Transformation team, reporting directly to the Head of Operations and Finance Processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our vehicle operations and mobility model across markets and brands.
YOUR MISSION : Become a strategic partner for our Mobility & Vehicle Operations units, bridging business needs with smart, scalable IT solutions. You’ll lead key transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless rollouts, strong local adoption, and continuous improvement of our processes and tools.
MAIN FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Act as the business partner for Mobility & Vehicle Operations business units, ensuring alignment between business strategies and IT solutions.
* Become the reference for the business team to know the status of the area and the details of the projects status and scope.
* Lead the implementation and rollout of the corporate vehicle operations and mobility operating model across new markets and brands.
* Evolve existing processes & tools, adding functionalities and efficiencies to the corporate template.
* Ensure the adoption of the internal tools by the local business teams.
* Conduct GAP analysis, process definition, and solution design, working closely with business teams, internal Strategy & Transformation department, and vendors.
* Manage risks and scope changes, ensuring smooth project adoption and change management.
* Provide regular status updates to management and clearly communicate complex topics to business stakeholders. Coordinate external vendors teams to guarantee quality project execution.
* Facilitate integration with 3rd parties (e.g., vehicle logistics providers) and ensure seamless data flows.
* Continuously collaborate with the Application Maintenance team to ensure fixes and improvements are deployed according to SLAs.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS :
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced professional who brings both strategic vision and hands-on expertise to the table. Ideally, you’ll have :
* 5+ years of experience in the automotive, mobility, distribution, or consumer goods industries, with deep knowledge of vehicle operations and commercial / supply chain processes.
* At least 3 years of experience working with SAP (MM, SD, VMS modules) and a solid understanding of SAP-FI. Familiarity with Salesforce is a strong plus.
* A proven track record leading international ERP implementations, covering the full lifecycle: from process definition and GAP analysis to design, testing, training, data migration, and cutover.
* A degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written – you're confident communicating across global teams.
* Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear messages for business stakeholders.
You’ll also need to be open to occasional travel (around 10%), mainly within Europe, to stay close to our markets and teams.
