LGT Digital Factory (Spain) S.L. is searching for a Scrum Master for our Barcelona Office.

As LGT implements its digital vision, LGT Digital Factory (DiF) acts as a strategic nearshore partner to implement state-of-the-art client and employee IT front ends. To fulfill this mission, we interact closely with LGT business and IT units and third-party vendors.

Together with a young, highly motivated team you will build promising Frontends for our Digital Products.

As a Scrum Master with a background in frontend development, you will play a key role in fostering an agile mindset and ensuring smooth delivery processes within our teams. You bring experience not only in facilitating agile ceremonies and removing impediments but also in bridging the gap between technical and business needs thanks to your frontend development expertise.
Your ability to coach, mentor, and collaborate across functions will ensure that our teams build user-centric, scalable, and secure solutions for the financial services industry.
Your Profile
Education: Bachelor (or Master) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM or SPC)
Agile Coaching certifications (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF) preferred
Agile Expertise: Proven track record (3–5+ years) as a Scrum Master in agile product
development teams.
In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles, frameworks, and scaling
approaches (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
Hands-on experience in facilitating ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint
planning, retrospectives and reviews.
Experience with Agile Release Trains and PI Planning
Strong coaching skills to foster self-organization, continuous improvement and
high performance within teams
Willingness to take on broader responsibilities such as Release Train Engineer
(RTE) or Agile Coach over time
Technical Expertise (Frontend Background): Solid foundation in Java Script (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Strong and hands-on background in frontend development
Hands-on experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or
Vue.js.
Understanding of API integration and component-based architecture.
Awareness of front-end testing practices and performance optimization.
Collaboration and Leadership: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including UX, backend, QA, and business stakeholders.
Ability and willingness to challenge the team’s resource allocation to individual
tasks
Ability to align product owners, developers, and stakeholders toward shared
goals.
Strong stakeholder management and communication across technical and
business domains
Conflict resolution skills and the ability to foster transparency and trust.
Contribution in circles and chapters helping shape the approach of managing
products
Soft Skills: Excellent facilitation and moderation skills.
High commitment to the company’s delivery culture.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Clear and empathetic communication across technical and non-technical
audiences.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Business Fluent in English (German or French is a plus).
Preferred Skills (a plus, but not mandatory): Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other agile collaboration tools.
Knowledge of financial services platforms or private banking workflows.
Experience in scaling agile across multiple teams.
Knowledge of Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Willingness to take on broader responsibilities such as Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Agile Coach over time.
