Role Overview: The Content Strategist's main role is to develop and implement our clients' content strategy on the Amazon platform. You will guide and mentor the in-house and freelance design team to develop functional, attractive, creative, and sales-oriented design and visual communication. The primary responsibility is content team management, overseeing designers to perform at their best, and working closely with Clients and Project/Account Management to understand each account's needs.
Ideal Candidate: Able to provide constructive feedback based on their own perspectives aligned with client feedback, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment. This role involves hands-on graphic design and content creation, with self-assigned tasks within the content workflow.
Skills & Knowledge: Deep understanding of design, typography, layouts, current design trends, and Amazon marketplace strategies. A self-starter who knows when to delegate, and capable of training new designers and freelancers, ensuring they stay updated on Amazon's content policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead design and creative direction for each client's brand, ensuring visual consistency and Amazon best practices.
* Participate in Welcome Calls and Content Strategy Calls with clients, Project Managers, and Account Managers.
* Act as the first point of contact for content-related escalations and creative feedback.
* Guide and mentor the design team, providing feedback and creative solutions.
* Manage daily tasks such as catalog updates, image replacements, listing tweaks, and checking ASINs in Seller Central.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and respond to messages promptly.
* Conduct Content Audits, create Moodboards, and present them to clients during onboarding.
* Work with SEO and Editorial teams for quarterly listing updates and content strategy alignment.
* Review and track performance through monthly KPI reports.
* Support onboarding and training of new designers.
* Coordinate with SEO specialists for quarterly Restricted Terms Sheet updates.
* Support integration of new content modules, checking updates monthly.
* Participate in content feedback calls with clients for clear rework notes.
* Lead regular design training sessions to maintain high standards.
* Partner with Project and Account Managers to ensure timely task delivery and support team KPIs.
* Contribute to internal performance processes and evaluations.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in Design.
* At least 3 years of experience with Amazon-specific content creation and management.
* Permanent Work-from-Home setup.
