About the Company
At Randstad Professionals, we are looking for a Technical Customer Account Lead for our client, Congelados de Navarra, a world-leading frozen vegetable manufacturer with a presence in over 70 countries. With 5 production plants in Spain and established commercial offices in Germany, Canada, the UK, and the USA, they are a thriving team of 1,200 people.
About the Role
This is a newly created strategic role based at their corporate headquarters in Fustiñana, Navarra. In this role, you won't just be another quality technician;
you will be the critical, strategic bridge between our cutting-edge production plants in Spain and the most prominent retailers and foodservice companies in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Managing the comprehensive technical relationship with our strategic UK client portfolio.
- Ensuring full compliance with quality and food safety standards (BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000) alongside customer-specific requirements.
- Acting as the key technical liaison with internal departments—including R&D;, Production, Packaging, Procurement, and Logistics—for new developments and first productions.
- Maintaining a live connection with the British market through regular collaboration with our UK commercial office and periodic travel to the UK.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Food Science & Technology (CTA), Agricultural Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or a similar field.
Required Skills
- Proven experience within the UK market, ideally in the food industry or related regulated sectors (such as food ingredients, fresh produce, etc.), provided you have a foundational food background.
- More than an official certificate, you must feel completely comfortable communicating with natural ease and fluency with British clients.
- A minimum C1 level of Spanish is required.
- Residing or willing to reside within a 120 km radius of our Fustiñana plant, as this role is 100% on-site at our corporate offices.
